Description and Responsibilities:
- To follow up with retail sign ups that have initiated the process
to open an account with client and assist them in their
queries and to help them complete the process of opening the account.
- To answer inbound queries by retail prospective customers that are
interested in setting up an account with client.
- To cold call prospects to build the business for client.
- To educate sign ups on companies product offering, explain rules and
regulations that govern overseas investments for Indian residents.
- Maintain a database of retail prospects and sign ups and follow up
with them.
- To attend tradeshows, conferences and events for retail business.
- To present clietnts trading platform & services to retail
prospects either online or in person.
- Liaison with new accounts and application support team to get the
account approval completed for the client.
- To be self-motivated and be able to perform under pressure using
sound judgment and professionalism.
- The job can include travel both within Mumbai and outside of
Mumbai.
Qualifications:
- Experience: 1-2 years in sales of
financial products.
- Education: University Degree (Bachelors).
General market knowledge in futures, options and the equities market
required.
- Skills:
- Fluent in English and Hindi, good written communication skills in
English, good sales and networking skills.
- Working knowledge of PC technologies, including Microsoft office
(word, excel, Power Point, outlook).
- Additional exams that need to be passed within 6 months of joining
