Responsibilities:      

·  Writing context sensitive, task based help to assist users in learning and efficiently using the software.

·  Translating technical drawings, schematics and diagrams into guidelines and step by step instructions.

·  Reviewing and editing inputs from other team members with varying levels of English skills to ensure proper context, style, grammar and spelling.

·  Documenting complex technical solutions and workflows into simple language.

·  Collaborating with product owners, project engineers, software developers, and UX consultants to ensure help content is accurate and provides context beyond simple click-by-click instructions.

·  Analyzing existing help content and documentation for improvements and reuse.

·  Collecting inputs and creating training videos for a highly technical audience.

Minimum Qualifications:

·  Bachelors or Master’s Degree in English Sciences, Technical Communications, Journalism, Engineering, Computer Science or Business Equivalent

·  5 years of relevant work experience

·  Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (e.g. Word, Power Point, Excel) and Help Content software (e.g. Adobe RoboHelp)

·  Proficient in video production software (e.g. Captivate, Adobe Illustrator, Camtasia)

·  Basic understanding of database oriented software (e.g. SQL Server, Oracle)

·  Previous experience working with a global, distributed team
